Nominate for the DMV Region's Premiere Music Award Show!

Until January 31, 2022, you can nominate the Washington DC region's best music artists and professionals for work completed in 2021. With more than 60 award categories representing over 20 genres, The Wammie Awards needs your nominations to recognize and reward the best artists and musicians in the region!

More than ever, it is important to support musicians of today and tomorrow. Your participation from now until the awards show will benefit the youth at The MusicianShip and free music education programming. We can't wait to return in person for our annual Award Show and regional fundraiser on March 26, 2022! Wammie Awards programming is provided by The MusicianShip, a D.C.-based nonprofit that is focused on ‘Changing Lives with Music’. Proceeds from the Wammie Awards help support The MusicianShip’s free-of-charge music programs that serve nearly 2000 youth and continues to be a resource for local D.C. artists and musicians. In addition to the Wammie Awards, The MusicianShip oversees the DC Funk Parade and The Washington Youth Choir.
